Story

Cameron was crossing Ferry Road on Saturday 19th of August, at a pedestrian crossing with the green man lit - he was hit with considerable force by a motorcycle who went through the red light. Cameron, local pupil at Ferryhill Primary, has suffered significant injuries - he has broken both collar bones, a broken elbow, wrist and femur. He has internal bruising on his lungs & liver and a tear in his kidney as well as cuts and bruises covering most of his body. Cameron remains in critical but stable condition.

The local community have expressed a wish to help raise funds to support the family in this crisis, and would wish to help Cameron in his recovery. Updates will be provided as and when they are available from friends and family.

Please note this page has not been set up by the parents of Cameron, they do not want to gain financially from their ordeal, it is set up with the assistance of the caring community and their desire to help.

The driver of the motorcycle has yet to be found, any information as to their whereabouts can be forwarded to Drylaw Police, by contacting 101 or through the Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 3247.

Any support would be most welcome.
