Jay is homeless and sells copies of The Big Issue at the top of my road, to try to raise enough money each day to pay for a bed for the night. He has to buy the papers himself, and stands outside in all weathers hoping to sell some copies.

Unfortunately someone recently stole his whole batch of newspapers, which was worth over £100 to Jay, not only leaving him with nothing to sell, but also leaving him seriously out of pocket.

Some of my friends expressed a desire to try to help, so I am setting up this page for anyone who would like to make a small donation towards recouping his losses. A copy of The Big issue is £2.50, but any donation at all would be so gratefully received. (If we could exceed the £100 that would be a wonderful bonus, as Jay really does deserve a break in life.)
