Our friend Caroline is in the middle of a nightmare situation and we would like to help make things a little easier for her at an unimaginably stressful time.

A mum of two, Jack 17 and Tilly 13, Caroline was diagnosed with bowel cancer back in 2018 and has been fighting it with astonishing bravery and good humour ever since. After a first round of gruelling chemotherapy she was in remission, only for the cancer to return again. After more treatment and surgery she fought her way through that, only to receive the cruel news the cancer has returned for a third time, leading to yet more chemo and another major surgery.

During this time she has been unable to work so money has been tight but she has kept going with remarkable fortitude and we would like to do our best to help.

We have fundraised previously with an afternoon tea event and fundraising page and were able to help them go on their first family holiday abroad in Croatia a couple of years ago, creating lovely memories and some much-needed respite. We want to do the same again as the family need our help even more now.

We will be doing further fundraising as soon as restrictions are lifted and will need your help with ideas and support.

I have put a target of £6,000 but of course the more we can the raise the better.
