    Story

I started dancing at the age of 2 at Pwllheli School of Dance and have been performing ever since with the wish to continue until I can no more. At the beginning of this year, I auditioned for performing arts colleges and received 2 offers, one from London Studio Centre and another from LIPA. People had told me as soon as I walked into an audition I would know exactly where I wanted to be, and they were right. The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts is a university-level training centre for both performance and those who make performance possible and is where I have my heart set on.
Now to get to the point. The place I have been offered is a foundation certificate. You undertake intensive training in a variety of dance styles to extend your abilities as a performer, helping you become versatile and confident with a strong professional insight. The only downside is the inability to get any form of loan or grant, not from the government, charities or LIPA itself. This means I must find £9000 for fees and £4500 for accommodation for the year, a lot of it needing to be payed before September. I’m working 2 jobs over summer and have already applied for jobs in Liverpool, but this isn’t going to be enough.
I’m sure many of you will question why you should help me. Many of these pages are focused toward charities, and helping those in incredible need. I know this comes nothing close to those in life threatening situations, but I can’t express enough how much I want this. I’m also very proud my offer, as out of the 1000s of applicants there are only 19 of us, this proving to both myself, and all of you that I have the potential and determination to succeed, I genuinely can't imagine doing anything else with my life.

I’m not expecting anything close to the total, but any amount of money or support from anyone who feels this is a worthy cause could help this happen. Please take the time to visit my website - https://cassieellen.wixsite.com/dance
    Thank you, Cas x
