Hi our names are Brian Herbert and Davida Sharland. Our son, Charlie has Cerebal Palsy . This means he has alot of trouble walking and standing . However he can have an operation , called an SDR , which cuts some of the sensory nerves in his back . This will enable him to walk and stand better. The downside is this type of operation is currently not funded by the NHS , so we are trying to raise the money for the operation and aftercare ourselves .As part of this fundraising I shall be doing the Stratford upon Avon 10k run on September 10 2017.
