I have been selected to represent Girlguiding (Leicestershire) as part of the Girlguiding patrol travelling to the Ireland scouting JamboRí 2018.

The JamboRí 2018 is an event held at the Electric Picnic site (Stradbally Hall) and will be attended by over 5,000 scouts and guides from across the world. As well as the traditional elements of a Scout and Guide jamboree the event gives participants the opportunity to socialise with scouts from around the world, gaining an understanding of diverse global cultures and take part in social action and sustainability projects. The event will equip me as a participant with many skill such as team building, a spirit of adventure and widen my view of the world.

This exciting adventure will cost approximately £500 ( which will be used to cover travel to and return from Ireland, accommodation, food, insurance, as well as briefings, essential kit and administration for the trip).
