Stafford Chemo Unit is a cause very close to me and my families hearts. They treated my Mum there and put a smile on her face every trip, and have also treated other friends of mine. The staff there work tirelessly but with so much passion and love. These contributions will go to improve the unit, and if it makes a difference to just one patients experience there it will be worth it. The money is being used to fund a new garden area, a place away from the clinical environment to enjoy and relax in. To raise money for this cause I'm running the Stafford 10K on 24th September. For those that know me, will know that prior to training for this I had the fitness levels of a sloth, and I'm still a fair bit off being able to run the 10K, so please donate and dig deep if you can, even if it's only for entertainment to see me drag myself across the finish line!
