I am trying to raise funds for the ward I work on in Bangor Hospital in North Wales, I aim to do this by completing 3 running races Caernarfon 10 k Sept 3rd ,Cardiff 1/2 marathon on October 1st(25,000 runners) and Bangor 10 k on October 7th,I run for a local club of fell and road runner Eryri Harriers,http://www.eryriharriers.org.uk/ and I am very proud to run for them.
My aim is to complete all 3 races and to raise money for the ward, I often find that if we had a few extra pieces of equipment it would make our jobs easier and the care of the patients even better, any amount is good it all goes towards a smoother journey through what can be a very tough time for our patients, we as staff strive to do our very best and then go the extra mile, maybe the money could go towards smoothing our journey through another long shift, many a time I have gone to use a piece of equipment for a patient only to find that it is already in use and I wish we had two of them,extra funds could buy that piece of equipment and save a patient having the possible indignity of having to wait, when really maybe they cannot.
I spend a lot of time running( as those who know me are aware ) and think maybe I could raise money whilst im running, so come on guys n gals dig deep and be generous please, many many thanks all in advance.
