    Story

    Hi guys
I am swimming the North Channel in September 2017, this is 25mile from Donaghadee N Ireland to Portpstrick Scotland. This is the hardest Channel of them all with ruff seas, cold water and jellyfish , it's a lifelong ambition to do it so why not try and raise money for a local charity that's close to a lot of people in my home town of Portadown.
The Stephen Lyness foundation has been running for 12 years now and a lot of people in our area have raised money for it.
Stephen was a very close friend to my partner and everyone who knew him knew he was a typical cheeky chappy from our area.
stephen passed away on his 18th birthday due to the devastating affect of sudden adult death syndrome, (SADS).

The swim cost £2600 which I am funding the £600 myself and I'm paying for my own training camps so I'm Gona beg businesses to sponsor me fo that.

My training will consist of 5am starts and 40k a week in pool with cold dips including ice swims to acclimatise my body to be in the sea for up to 14 hours.

If any1 can spare a few pound it would go a long way and maybe give me that extra boost that il need .

    Thanks

    Chris
