Christmas is a lovely time for some, but for others it can be lonely and upsetting.   For  the  last  8  years ,  my  family (me,  my  husband  &  4  daughters) and  a  group  of  volunteers  have  organised  and  hosted  a  Christmas  Day  Meal  &  Celebration  for  people  who  would  otherwise  be  on  their  own,  or who  don't  have  the  money  to  enjoy  a Christmas  dinner.   Each  year  we  have  relied  on  donations  from  the  community  to  fund  this.   Last  year  we  had  approx  150  guests,  who  we  provided  with  transport,  a  three  course  meal,  a  Christmas  present,  and  entertainment.   Along  with  good  company  and  lots  of  love & laughter. We  would  love  to  reach  the  target  to  provide  the  meal  at Jubilee Centre, Paddock, this  year,  and  if  we  exceeded  the  target  we  would  use  the  extra  money  for  the  over 55's monthly  luncheon and social  club,  run  from  the Centre.
