Story
Bethan Morgan and Claire Banks are taking part in the Anglesey Half Marathon on Sunday 5th of March 2017. We are raising funds for two local causes in Nefyn, Gwynedd.
Elusennau Efan is a charity started by Bethan and Bleddyn Evans, in memory of their son Efan who was diagnosed with Surfactant Deficiency Protein C, a rare lung disease. Efan received treatment, and support at Mancheshter's Children's Hospital. Efan passed away in December 2012, and his family and friends organise events and raise money for charities that touched his life. Elusennau Efan are fundraising to re sponsor a room at RonaldMcDonald House in Manchester, which allows families to stay near to their child while they are in hospital.
Cai Morgan is the 6 year old son of Bethan and Stephen Morgan who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of two. Cai is also deaf. Adaptable equipment is essential to Cai, which allows him to be as mobile and independent as he can. As Cai get's bigger, his needs change, and part of the money raised will ensure Cai has access to the correct equipment
Mae Bethan Morgan a Claire Banks yn cymeryd rhan yn Hanner Marathon Ynys Mon ar y 5ed o Fawrth 2017. Yr ydym yn codi arian tuag at dau elusen lleol i Nefyn.
Fe syfydlwyd Elusennau Efan er cof a mab Bethan a Bleddyn Evans, Efan a gafodd ddiagnosis o afiechyd prin Surfactant Deficiency Protein C ar yr ysgyfaint. Mae Cai Morgan yn fab 6 oed i Bethan a Stephen Morgan a fe gafodd ddiagnosis o Barlys yr Ymennydd yn ddau oed. Mae Cai hefyd yn fyddar. Mae offer heblyg yn hanfodol i Cai, sydd yn caniatau iddo fod mor symudol ac annibynnol ag y gall. Fel mae Cai yn tyfu, mae ei anghenion yn newid, a fydd rhan or arian a godwyd yn mynd tuag at yr offer cywir iddo.
