Ok so I'm running the Great North Run in a few weeks time! Im no runner! I thought I would take this opportunity to help raise some money for a lovely family - the Thirlaways. I met Jenny a few years back at my gym. Jenny's husband, Scott at this time was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment. Jenny & Scott have 2 children, Jack & Molly, Molly has a disability & various medical conditions which also makes for regular hospital trips.
After numerous battles Scott was finally given the all clear. It seemed like this family could finally enjoy some time together!
However a few months back Jenny was unwell. Jenny was then also diagnosed with cancer, but initially was told curable. I then heard however this was not the case and Jenny has been given upto 12 months to live. I want to help give this family as many opportunities as possible to do the things families should be doing & enjoying. I want Jack & Molly to be able to look back on lots of memories with their Mam.
Please help me do this, however much you can afford to give is massively appreciated.
