On the 24th of September 2017 myself and a group of friends will be taking part in an abseil down the Europa hotel in Belfast.
We are aiming to raise much needed funds for a charity close to my heart, Support 2gether (S2)
S2 are providing much needed help to women and their families living with Postnatal depression in our local community. Their work is vital. There is no other dedicated PND charity in our locality and the effects of untreated PND can be devastating.
S2 are providing people (not just mummies) with the opportunity to learn the signs of PND and giving them the tools to deal with it.
They provide a free counselling service to people living with PND which has been vital to my own recovery.
The charity can be contacted via Facebook or telephone by anyone concerned about PND...that could get a mummy, a daddy, grandparents or friends of someone living with postnatal depression.
They are currently in the process of opening 2 new premises, 1 in omagh and Clogher but the reality is that the charity needs money to continue providing help and support.
