In the last few years we have witnessed our dear friend Saz and her mother Susan face so much heartache, first losing Susan’s father to cancer, then Susan’s husband to a sudden heart attack, then only last month Susan buried her mother, also losing her to cancer. Now this week, after suddenly collapsing at work due to a build up of fluid on the brain, the family have had the unexpected and unthinkable news that they have had to say goodbye to Susan’s youngest daughter Claire. At only 24 years old, Claire was a bubbly and sweet young woman that worked with the homeless and did as much as she could for many charities. Recently Claire even shaved all of her hair off for one charity. She was a kind soul just like her mother and both would do anything for anyone, without a second thought. This poor family are heartbroken. Being the youngest, Claire is Susan’s baby and leaves behind her two older sisters, Stacey and Saz as well as her nephew Caden, who was more like her brother. Susan has lost her mother, father, husband and daughter all in a short few years. Through the suffering Susan always thinks of others, as even before the doctors had considered or mentioned organ donation, Susan let them know that it was what Claire would have wanted. Now Claire has gone on to save 6 peoples lives, with this selfless gift. A true reflection of the person she was.

We have set up this page to hopefully relieve some of the stress of paying for the funeral and the worry of Susan having to take time off work. We appreciate any small amount and all funds will be directly given to the family from the site. Lots of love xx
