Story
Llandudno Junction Skateboard Park is in dire need of updating and refurbishment. It is no longer fit for purpose and I'm determined to do something about this for the children and young people of the Glyn-y-Marl Ward.
Both the Town and Country Council's have a part to play and I will be lobbying them for assistance.
I also think local Junction businesses can play their part, as our children and young people are our future and the children of their workforce, so any donations towards the cause from businesses will be very much appreciated by everyone concerned.
I always say, hope for the best, plan for the worst. So if this fundraiser doesn't reach a figure that would cover the cost of this project, the money raised will go towards other projects within Llandudno Junction for children and young people. Projects such as the redevelopment of the Youth Club, Youth Shedz, or any number of associations within the Junction who provide activities for children and young people could benefit.
Anyway, the main aims and objectives are to concentrate on the Skateboard Park. So please, give what you can and only if you can. As I know times are hard, fuel and energy bills have sky rocketed, the cost of living is ever increasing. Times are hard, but our children and young people are the future.

1 year agoHi everyone, I’ve not posted for a little while, but thought a little update was in order. I will be meeting Aberconwy MP Robin Millar at the Skatepark with my fellow Glyn y Marl Councillors. Hopefully we will discuss any future plans that Conwy County Borough Council have for the Skatepark and how grants can be accessed, also if Robin can assist in any way. If any organisation or charities would like to help by applying for grants it would be much appreciated? In the mean time we are still accepting donations on this page - thank you.

1 year agoEven though the hole has been fixed I'm still raising funds for Llandudno Junction Skatepark as the Playgrounds Inspector is still looking at replacing the existing park with a bowl in the future. Donations kindly accepted 🙏
