In October myself and 32 other Architectural students are travelling to Cuba as part of a Masters research trip. While preparing and researching for the study we have become aware of the devastating effect that Irma has had on the Cuban infrastructure. With more storms on their way and little by way of state funding, we see it as our responsibility to use the empty space in our suitcase to take with us all the supplies we can.

I have been in contact with a local organisation (CubaLibro) based in Havana which has the means to distribute certain supplies to those in need. The money you donate will contribute towards the purchase of the below products in Denmark. Depending on how the situation develops this list may vary.

– batteries (AA and AAA)

– candles

– crank radios

– maxi pads (not tampons)

– water filters

– mutli-vitamins

-flashlights (crank and/or solar best)

– baby wipes
