Warwick Global Business Brigade looks at creating sustainable development solutions to improve the socioeconomic level of the rural communities that we serve in Panama. Due to lack of access to basic credit plagues countries such as Panama fall into a poverty trap that they're unable to break out of. The volunteering programme I am part of includes ultimately equipping the community with the tools necessary to drive their own development. This comes in the form of business consulting, family financial planning assistance and strategic investment.

On top of that the business brigade supports the community banks that have been established, by helping stimulate economic growth and foster micro enterprise growth.
