Since May this year my beloved Dad has been a resident at Hillcrest Carehome.

The staff have been incredible in helping him, and us, adjust to this painful change.

Though recently things have grown more difficult in managing Dad's stage of Dementia they continue to try and support him as much as they can, using methods of distraction instead of resorting to the easy option of medication.

This walk is inspired by the Dementia Memory Walk but specifically for local support for the Dementia sufferer's, obviously including my Dad, who live at Hillcrest.
