1. Princess Maxima Centre for Pediatric Oncology based in The Netherlands: Funds raised this year will be used to build a new restaurant which is due to open in 2018. The Centre provides specialist care for children suffering from Cancer. It is passionate about treating and curing children with cancer using the best possible methods. Through training the best talent and working with top researchers, its aim is to ensure that, in the future, at least nine out of ten children will recover from cancer under the best possible conditions. 2. Nurture the Child: is a foundation sponsoring children from low-income families in Kampala, Uganda. In Liverpool we have had a strong connection to this charity in the past. Nurture the Child sponsors 95 pupils in nursery, primary and secondary schools.
