Since he was 6 and a half months old, Damian is battling to recover from an herpetic encephalitis, a post herpetic encephalitis and a very serious form of epilepsy. For two years, he had zero immunity and now he has several damages, needing assistance all the time! In order to restart his life, he needs technical support feeding seat, standing form, orthopedic shoes and others and daily physiotherapy, plus that once in a while, Damian needs a special supplements also (protein and hydrates), but our incoming (my husband salary and my social aid) cover only the basics costs! For now, our son is attending 2-3 physiotherapy sessions per week and has some borrowed technical support, but he really needs his own and also needs daily physiotherapy to help him to be more independent! We are thinking of all costs for this year, but those for the next ones too! We want to try everything that can help our son! We want that Damian to have better results and progress, this year and every year! We want him to join another form of therapy (with pool, horses, censorial music etc.) to recover himself faster and to live his life.

Desde os seus 6 meses e meio de idade o nosso filho esta a lutar para recuperar de uma encefalite herpética, outra pos herpética e uma forma grave de epilepsia! Durante quase 2 anos, ele foi imunodeprimido! TUDO ISSO deixou -lhe com graves lesões! Precisa de ser permanente acompanhado! Para recomençar ele precisa de fisioterapia diária (cadeiras de rodas/alimentação /duche, sapatos ortopédicos, fazer plano verticale e as vezes de suplementos (proteínas e hidratos) o ordenado de pai mais a baixa de mãe mal chega para as despesas básicas! Gostaríamos de fazer de tudo para ajudar o nosso filho (fisioterapia em piscina,cavalos,música,sensorial), para melhorar a situação de Damian tornando -lhe mais independente, mais forte, mais feliz! VIVER A VIDA!! Agora ele tem alguns apoios técnicos emprestados e esta a fazer fisioterapia!mas precisa mais.
