Story

Danny Griffiths and Danny Pratt are taking part in the 2017 Screwball Rally, driving over 2000 miles across Europe in a £175 Ford Mondeo. Last year we raised over £700 for Helping Yorkshire Pounds - a local dog rescue charity with our Jurassic Park Jeep (currently for sale on eBay to raise more money)

This year we want to help raise some cash to buy new kit and training equipment for Norristhorpe Juniors FC. The rules of the rally allow you to spend a maximum of £750 on your car, but we’ve managed to come way under that, and with lots of hard work, late night, good friends and beer, we’re converting a very rusty Ford Mondeo into a classic 90s BTCC Touring Car.

Once it’s finished in the next week or so it should look like this:

This years rally take us through France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.. then back... all in 5 days. We’ll be camping each evening and raising money as we travel. Please wish us luck, and if you can spare a couple of quid to go towards the brilliant kids at Norristhorpe Juniors that would be great.
