Story
At the request of Daves family as a permanent legacy to Dave, we are looking to raise funds to refurbish the existing scorebox at the Marske Cricket Club, and name it the Dave Beach Scorebox.
The cost will be approximately £6,000.
All funds raised will be Independent of the general finances of Marske Cricket Club

6 years agoYesterday the Family Fun Day raised £1,517.13 towards our goal. A massive thanks to everyone who donated their skills and time to make the event a resounding success. The total in the designated bank account is now £4,390.51. Having now obtained three separate quotations, the best quote is for £4,720 plus VAT (Which the Club will be able to claim back). Thank you all once again for your generosity. John

Dave was very tolerant of me as a young and inexperienced scorer aged 12 - I saw him on May 5th after almost 40 years and he seemed genuinely pleased to catch up. What a great shame.
