Hi everyone!
After A LOT of consideration and deliberating, I have nervously signed up to complete my first ever Half Marathon (The Great Scottish Run) in October in aid of Wishaw General's Neonatal Unit.
I have experienced first hand the amazing job these angels do, looking after babies who haven't had the easiest of starts in life. The care, love and attention my daughter, Mirren, received was incredible and for that I will forever be in their debt. I couldn't have coped without the wonderful staff who nurtured, cared for and supported my family and I throughout a very difficult time. What is even more upsetting, is that the unit rely heavily on donations!
Thankfully now at 10 months, 'Miracle' Mirren is now very much fighting fit thanks to the unit and wonderful staff.
Training is well under way and I am pushing myself through the blood, sweat and tears to help raise money for the Neonatal Unit. Any donations to support me and this wonderful cause would be greatly appreciated!
