Story
Pippi is going blind from Progressive Retinal Atrophy. She cannot see indoors at all and keeps walking into things. She still has some vision outdoors in bright light, but can only see shapes and, as the disease in progressive, she will become completely blind in the next few weeks/months. The condition is not life threatening or painful. However, blind dogs often become withdrawn because they bump into everything which is quite scary for them and there is a real risk that she may injure one of her eyes.
I am raising money to purchase equipment to help her cope and keep her safe. A Muffin's Halo, a mobility aid for blind dogs that helps them navigate, some Doggles so she doesn't injure her eyes on walks and a ramp on the back door steps.
