Story
Did you know? If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, survival chances increase from 6% to 74%.
A set of defibrillators costs around £1000 which may seem like a lot of money but if it can save even one life, it will make it worth it.
Any further money raised will be donated to CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) which is a fantastic charity that specialises in undiagnosed heart conditions in young people. CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by SDS (Sudden Death Syndrome).
Any support that you can give will be greatly appreciated!
