My brother, Rab, passed away on 25th August 2017 from Aspiration Pneumonia following an Intracerebral Haemorrhage (Stroke) just before Christmas 2016. Stroke is often a symptom of Type Two Diabetes. As a child he had suffered many chest infections which the doctors suggested may have played a part in him being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. His autism made it hard for us as a family to help him understand the importance of eating properly.
