Story

Working in a Local Authority I get to hear first hand about all the struggles local businesses are going through under lockdown and would love to do my little bit to help them. I don't know how many of my friends, colleagues and family listen to Chris Evans on Virgin Radio but some of the fund raising activity that they have been doing has been quite inspirational. Noah (Chris's son), giving away his favourite Christmas present and also hearing the story of a lung cancer patient dedicated to making PPE while self isolating and living alone. These and many more stories motivated me to run an extra 3 miles (10 miles) one morning, and that's when it all fell into place. We have 31 days in May, and that morning was the first. If I do this "every day in May (well almost I'm not completely bonkers)" I could run 300 miles!

If that isn't a good reason to donate some money to a good cause I don't know what is... Please help local businesses with me xx

Where will the money go?

Businesses in: Falkirk (where i live), North Lanarkshire (where i work) and Glasgow (where i worked and lived for more than half my life).

What will the money help towards?

Help small businesses with supplies, materials, rent, mortgages, or possibly to just feed their family. Anything that will help in their recovery and enable them to have a thriving business again.

Please donate!

Any donations are welcome. Imagine the £2-3 for your coffee that you would have bought on your commute or the bus / train fare, fuel... That Friday night out in the pub... Anything to help those in desperate need to continue to keep a roof over their families head.
