I'm raising £1000 to enable the unique and brilliant community-led Rowland Road Play Patch project (in Beeston Hill) to develop and flourish.

Story

The Play Patch is an alternative outdoor play zone at the back of the Rowland Road Social Club. It also features crafts and creativity, edible growing, food, events, and more.

It's been shaped, developed, and built by local people, over the past 2 years, with the support of Yorkshire Contemporary (formerly known as the Tetley).

It's now open every Saturday 11am-2pm to the public, for free, and will grow and evolve over the coming months and years.

I'm running the (13.1 mile) Leeds half marathon on Sunday 11th May 2025 - to raise funds for it.

It's a truly amazing project - it's been so good to be part of it, and see it take off. Funds raised will just enable us to step up, and do more: all contributions, big or small, would be brilliant. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

All monies raised will be transferred to, and administered by Yorkshire Contemporary - and will be spent according to the wishes of the local volunteer team.

Many thanks in advance.
