Firstly, welcome to Page#2 of my “Trio of Triathlons” to help raise money for Leeds Neuro ICU. I am 2 tris down and have raised an astonishing £6,315 so far! Sadly Page#1 (https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/emilyromahester) has exceeded the 120 day fundraising limit, so the link has expired  But Just Giving are happy for me to continue fundraising on a new page. So here it is... and thank you in advance to any newcomers. My story can be found in the Page#1 link above.

Secondly, Keith (aka Daddy Hest) is sweating for this challenge now too. His running shoes may be hung up for the time being but he has agreed to match any fundraising I achieve. Doubling my current total means we will have raised £12,630! Please do give as little or as much as you can – I am hoping we can do even better over the last few weeks and with your help we can make more of a difference to the ward.

Thirdly, I know Nick would give the biggest “cheers man” and awkward hug he could to every individual who has donated. Since his cranioplasty at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on 1 August, I am pleased to say that this is now possible and we have our fingers crossed he continues to improve. Personally, I can’t express how much I have appreciated all your kindness, generosity and support along my training journey, whether you are friends, family or strangers in similar circumstances. Thank you. It’s been a busy 2017!

Finally, my Olympic Triathlon on Sunday 17 September at Dorney Lake is just around the corner. The fun and games kick-off at 10.00 and I would be grateful for any support to get me across that final finish line – I have a 1500m swim, 42.4km cycle and 10k run to get through and I’m aiming for a PB of sub 3:14:00!
