Story
Please help me in re to my foster brother (Sandy) Mohammed Saleem.
He was abandoned by his family in UK(aged twelve) and has been in foster care until his eighteenth , he is now twenty and still resides with his now ex foster family.
On Fri 8th of Sep , he went to sign in at the office . He was detained and sent to IRC Heathrow (G4) , he is being held there awaiting deportation.
He has no legal aid and faces a £850 bill for solicitors just to fill out his bail application , he is not allowed to work so there is no way he could meet these costs .
He is a westernised young man who attends both mosque and church and is a truly valued ,loved member of my family .
He also identifies under the LGBTQIA bracket and if sent back to Pakistan , he is told he will have to live his life "discreetly" to avoid persecution from society.
He has no family support network (Pakistan) , no further education , no housing and faces a life of solitude, poverty and persecution .
If allowed to stay in UK , he has a loving supportive family , a promising career in mechanics . And a chance to give back to society what he is so humbly grateful for.
This is a emergency case and i need all the help i can get , am meeting with a immigration lawyer today to discuss actions and costs
#Hi Everyone Good news , I have managed to convince the solicitor to take on the case with legal aid . They have lodged the appeal and have applied for bail with conditions. I just want to thank those of you who have shared , donated and messaged your support. I am going to freeze this page for now as we have the support we needed and can cover other costs between us as a family. Will update when we have news . Thank you and much love#keepourboysafe
