Story
Hi Everyone!
Faye was born prematurely at 26 weeks weighing 1lb 13oz. When she was born, Faye had a bleed on the brain which caused cerebral palsy. Faye relies on her wheelchair as she is unable to walk but this hasn’t stopped her finding a sport that she loves. She is aiming to one day represent Team GB in Boccia; a sport similar to bowls.
We are fundraising (along with the guys a Coversure Ilkeston and a whole bunch of other great people!) to buy a wheelchair friendly camper van with specialised ramps for this ambitious and courageous young girl. This will help her family get her to training and competitions, go on holidays and ultimately to help Faye achieve her dream.
On September 11th Connie Eleftheriou and Jim Bridger will be Kayaking from Birmingham to Stenson (approx. 40 miles along the canals) to raise as much money as possible to help make Faye's dream possible.
There will also be a fundraising evening at The Bubble Inn on Saturday Sept 23rd with live singlers, raffle, auction and much more. Tickets are £2, come on everyone!!!
You're generosity is so greatly appreciated!!!
