The last few months have been challenging for us all and demands on our community mental health resources may continue to increase in the future. Those experiencing mental health problems directly or supporting a loved one through a difficult time face daily challenges know only to well how valuable community support is. In September, having never flown before, I plan to step out the wings of a 1940s biplane (keeping a good distance between me and the pilot at all times!). This will be a personal challenge and those who know me know I have never done anything like this before! I have no doubt I will feel much trepidation in anticipation of the much sought after adrenaline rush! I do hope to raise some money for Felin Fach, a centre doing wonderful work each day to support people experiencing mental illness and health difficulties while doing this and would be grateful of any support you can give. Canolfan Felin Fach supports adults who are experiencing or recovering difficulties in their lives, providing a comprehensive information base, drop in and support services and relies on funding to keep the centre open.
