Fenella here!

My wonderful beautiful and courageous mum is turning 50 at the end of this year and I want to throw her a surprise birthday party to celebrate her and the wonderful things she has done for myself, my family and others.

I feel proud to call a her a mother, she puts others first ALL the time. She has sponsored children in our home country Cameroon to go to school, adopted a girl that lost her family who is now my wonderful older sister and she makes sure that even if she’s worked a 16 hour day there's a good meal on the table and ALWAYS wants to know how our day's gone (even if she’s half asleep listening). I just think she’s the most wonderful woman. A SUPERWOMAN and if I begin to list everything she is, this message will never end.

I know we cannot afford a million pound party but I want to show my mum just how much we appreciate her.

I would like to raise funds to fly my grandparents and sister to London to celebrate with the rest of the family for a birthday party we want to throw her with 200 close family and friends to celebrate her life and give God thanks for her.

It is a big project but I am determined to do it and I know that anything is possible. This will be a surprise party for Mum to remember! I have already raised £2k and would like to raise a further 6k for to pull this off!
