Story
We are a group of young people between the ages of 15-17, taking part in the National Citizen Service (NCS) this summer (2017). As part of our social action project, we intend to bring light to the condition that is Fibromyalgia and garner support for this cause which is affecting an immense number of people in our communities. Sometimes the smallest of efforts, which would sometimes not even be considered by some charities, is a huge leap for other charities. This is a cause close to our hearts as it affects a member of our team directly and it hurts how little attention is drawn to it. We may not be the largest or most powerful of groups but we are determined to help this cause, and directly improve the people living with fibromyalgia.
100% of the money raised will go to FMA UK, a registered charity run by volunteers with no external funding, meaning they rely solely on donations. Unfortunately, this charity does not receive the amount of donations they deserve, and we, as a group of young people, want to change this, but we need your help.
A donation of any amount, large or small, would be highly appreciated by us and our charity and will help immensely towards the research & funding needed for this condition.
Thankyou :)
