Sila's mother Basia sadly passed away last week after a battle with cancer. The funeral is due to take place in her home town of Jelenia Góra this Thursday (24th August) followed by a small reception at the family home. Sila's managing to cope with everything extremely well and has been very grateful for all the kind messages she's been receiving. She has quite a lot to sort out before she is able to return to Glasgow which she hopes will be at the end of next week.

As several people have asked if they can send or contribute to flowers I've set up one of these donation pages as a simple means for doing that. We've ordered four wreaths of flowers to each represent a group of family or friends as is the tradition here. One wreath will bear the message 'With love from friends from Scotland' which is what any donation from this will go towards.
