Story
We are very proud of Greenhead Park's gardens, open spaces and children's play facilities; both the local and wider community make use of the park on a regular basis.
Because the park is an oasis in an otherwise urban area, it's important that the facilities are maintained and developed.
With this in mind, we are keen to improve the facilities in the enclosed children's play area. The plan is to install a superb train, on which children can play physically and imaginatively.

6 years agoFriends of Greenhead Park have been successfully fundraising for the new play train; the target is now in sight and we still hope to have the train installed during late spring/summer. We are fortunate enough to have been chosen by ‘Tesco Bags of Help’ as one of three causes to be awarded between £1-4,000! Please continue to support us and vote for Greenhead Park during March and April at Tesco, each time you shop. Thank you very much.
