I'm raising £500 for Forever Young
It’s been a funny old season off the pitch which has lead us to the Harrison cup. The teams of division 4 and teams in the cup have put their rivalry to the side and united together to stop the sad situation of a team cheating with over aged players. Unfortunately the President’s cup had to be cancelled but we have carried the cup on, the Harrison cup.
We’ve dedicated the name of the cup to Harrison, the son of Mitch who coaches Thurmaston Magpies Storm, who sadly passed away after a battle with cancer at the start of the season. Over the years we come to know all the teams really well and built a bond, even more so this season. We’d like to raise some money at the final for forever young, the charity Mitch has started for Harrison, giving the cup the true integrity and more that it has ever deserved.
