I've raised £1500 to raise funds for Children's Hospice South West and Dartmoor Velo.

The big 'Why are we doing it'?
Freddie and Charlie Day have both been cycling on two wheels since they were 3. They are now 9 and 6 and spend the majority of their free time pedalling around the neighbourhood, racing at cyclocross races, mountain bike races and trying to convince each other to do bigger and bigger jumps down the driveway!
As they have got older they have become more aware of 'how lucky' they are or feel. We had discussed completing a cycling challenge on one of our many bike rides up and down the granite way and Freddie came up with the idea of raising money.
All donations will be split 50:50 between Children's Hospice South West and Dartmoor Velo which is the boys bike club. Both organisations are not for profit and do exceptional work in enabling children to have access to activities that they otherwise wouldn't necessarily have access too.
They will be splitting the 100mile journey over 3 days. It is no mean feat - they will start at Ilfracombe and will be pedalling all the way to Plymouth. If you have ever cycled 30 miles in one day you will know quite how tiring it is....especially when you are 6!
On the final day they will be joined in Tavistock by some other members of their bike club and will complete the last 20 miles to Plymouth with them.
It is set to be an exciting journey and we hope you can support us and follow our journey.
