This is Ahmed Hijazi (next to his sister), a 16 year old boy living in Gaza. He is in need of laser eye surgery to save his vision. This will cost £700. His family require of the amount £500.

The family, of seven are poor and struggle to survive on a day to day basis, in what is referred to as the world largest open air prison. The father suffers from Osteogenisis Imperfecta, also known brittle bone disease..They recently lost a brother who suffered from disability.

I will be undertaking the Pedal for Scotland challenge in order to save Ahmed's vision. This is a 45 mile cycle ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh on the 10th of September 2017.
