We are raising money to support our volunteer leaders, who are giving their own time and covering their own costs to make it possible for our Girl Guides and Rangers to take part in an international trip to Switzerland. This trip will give the girls the chance to experience a different culture, build confidence and independence, and take part in outdoor activities they wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to do.

None of our leaders receive funding for this trip — we volunteer our time and are self-funding so that we can provide this opportunity for the girls. To help raise funds, five of our leaders are taking part in the Sidmouth Community Swimathon at 6pm. We’re not professional swimmers, but we’re committed to doing this to help make the trip possible.
