Godmanchester Miniature Railway

We are proud to announce we will be starting construction of the Godmanchester Miniature Railway , a 5" and 7 1/4 gauge dual gauge railway giving train rides to the public and showing the history of Godmanchester.

We hope to open a section of the line in easter 2026 for taster sessions. We have all the track work to start the railway and starting materials and been given the green signal to start.

Any help towards our project would be a great help to us and make the railway great in Godmanchester

All of our engines and carriages will be working on the railway alongside others.

All stock is still going through winter maintenace from last roadmap and hope to complete the work before January 2026.

We are super excited to reveal more as time go on but super happy we can talk about the GMR now.

A big reveal will be happening in January.
