As the austerity cuts continue more and more people are relying on food banks and soup kitchens.....as do a lot of the low in benefits and homeless community in Doncaster relying massively on Guru Nanaks Free Kitchen to provide a warm meal, a friendly face, support and help come rain or shine.

In a wonderful demonstration of faith collaboration members of the Buddhist and Sikh Community in Doncaster have come together to fundraise to help raise money to help improve and continue the amazing success of Guru Nanaks Free Kitchen and support the renovation project at Gomde, Lindholme Hall.  KORA WALK ( meditative walk )

Our Challenge is to complete a sponsored 12 hour KORA walk around the Lindholme Island, situated in the middle of the Hatfield Moor National Nature Reserve.

All funds raised from the sponsored KORA WALK will be used to support the continued community project Guru Nanaks Free Kitchen by using the money to cover the yearly food bills and the weekly running costs so that we may continue what we best and looking after the low in benefits and homeless community of Doncaster.
