We are raising £500 for Men In Mind. Their mission is to support men who may be struggling with their mental health in our local community, by providing peer to peer support, in a safe space.

Men's mental health is too often overlooked. too many men feel they have to suffer in silence, and that silence can deadly. this is about breaking the stigma, encouraging open conversations and making sure no one feels like they have to face their struggles alone.

In Scotland in 2024, there were 518 male suicide deaths and men accounted for around 74% of all suicides. The suicide rate for men is about 2.9 times higher than for women, This rate has consistently been much higher than female rates for decades.

Most suicide rates happen in men ages 25-64.

Within our Job we see this figures happening more and more, this is one of the reasons we have chosen such a hard working charity who works within Aberdeen.
