Great Ayton Allotments is a site where the village’s community can grow food, keep active, improve wellbeing and socialise.

The land these allotments are on has recently been put up for sale. To ensure the future availability of our allotments, the community has come together to work towards buying the allotment site.

Following the ‘asset of community value’ status placed upon the land, we have limited time to fundraise to put towards our bid. Currently, grants are being applied for and fundraising events in the local community are being organised. But we still need your help.

Working alongside the Parish Council, the Allotment Bid Committee and Allotment Working Party invite you to make a donation to the cause. If we are unsuccessful in our attempt to buy the allotment site, any monies raised through JustGiving, will be donated to local charities and will be split 50/50 between Headlight Project (a local suicide prevention & bereavement support for families of suicide victims. Registered Charity: 1189099) and The Great Ayton Discovery Centre (Registered Charity: 1147411).
