    Story

When I retired as Principal of Hazelwood Dance Studios at the end of 2019, I wanted to mark the end of 28 amazing years with something really special, so a skydive it was! As I'm not even great on ladders, a 13,000 ft skydive is going to be a big challenge for me but I know it will be an experience I will never forget ...... as long as I can summon up the courage! I'm a huge supporter of the work of St. Nicholas Hospice Care and Theatre Royal BSE having been Chairman of TRSG since 2014 and more recently becoming a volunteer on Sylvan Ward at St. Nicholas Hospice. I'd hoped to do my jump in April but COVID19 had other ideas of course. Now, supporting these two fantastic charities as they navigate their way through such a difficult time is more important then ever.

The funds I raise for the Hospice are being donated to an exciting refurbishment project on Sylvan Ward which will create a comfortable, homely communal area for the benefit patients and their relatives.

If you would consider supporting me by making a small donation, I would be very grateful indeed and of course it would encourage me to leave the plane!

Donations can be made via JustGiving, bank transfer or cheque to: Miss H. J. Jackman, Sort Code: 09-01-28 Account Number: 52967295. Hazelwood Dance Studios, Northgate St. Business Park, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 1HP. Email: hazeljackman@googlemail.com

I DID IT!!! I certainly won't forget this experience in a hurry and despite having no helmet or skydive suit because of COVID 19 restrictions, I'm relieved to say my plastic gloves and I landed safely. To everyone who was kind enough to sponsor me, a HUGE thank you for your support and generosity. I also wanted to mention the lovely families at Hazelwood Dance Studios who contributed to my skydive collection when I retired. St. Nicholas Hospice and Theatre Royal BSE have said how incredibly grateful they are to you all.
