I am running a half marathon as part of the Great Scottish Run on 1st October. Your sponsorship will help support the purchase of sporting equipment required for the 7th WUKF World Karate Championship for all ages. This is a great event for our local area as well as the local athletes participating. My daughter Zara is part of Kanzen Karate, the hosting club, and the whole club is pulling together to raise a phenomenal £25000!

The equipment purchased will not only allow this amazing event to take place, but most of it will then go on to be donated to local community groups in Dundee & Angus, providing a great legacy from this event.

I joined my local running club almost a year ago, and never dreamed I'd be able to tackle a half marathon, but managed to complete my first in May of this year. It is however a huge commitment to fit training in between work, home life and kids activities. Any donations you are able to give will be very much appreciated and will be put to good use.
