So 2 and 1/2 years ago my dad and our families life changed significantly when my dad was given his kidney and pancreas transplant which he has recovered well from. Unfortunately this was only able to happen due to someones loss of their loved one. A major way in which organ donation awareness is raised is through the transplant games. My dad will be taking part in the games next year and is taking part in a sponsored cycle from Killin to Callandar (21.6 miles) to raise money for the Lanarkshire Transplant Team.
