Heidi is a palliative-care nurse working for St. Margret's hospice based in Yeovil, Somerset. She and two other nurses are looking to travel to the foot of the Himalayas near to the town of Rishikesh, in India to visit Ganga Prem (http://gangapremhospice.org/pages/03hospice/hospice.htm) a hospice providing end of life care to a high number of very vulnerable patients. Heidi's role will be to deliver much needed medical supplies and to offer support and training to the medical/ nursing staff and to share good practice. Heidi and her colleagues need to raise funds for their trip to donate directly to Ganga Prem to assist them in their continued efforts to deliver the best end of life care possible.
