    Story

We are raising funds for our local lifeboats here in Orkney.
This year with all the covid challenges we have faced, we have been unable to do any of our usual fundraising events.
In light of this in the month of january 7 local burray lasses are going walk the distance from the most northernly UK Lifeboat station (Aith, Shetland) to the most southern (St Heliar)
A total of 963 miles that we will attempt to cover over the 31 days of january.

So we have reached the end of january so for our last day to get those last miles in we are going to walk around the coast of our island (Burray). We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for your donations and support along the way. Thank you again. Team Burray 🥳

Day 23 and were at 99% of our target! To date we have covered 877.8 miles leaving us only 85.2 miles to go in our final week. We are also aiming to walk round the coast of burray on our final day to add some extra miles, thanks to everyone who has contributed to our goal without folks generous donations the RNLI would not be here to save lives at sea.
