This little girl is calles angel and she is 9 yrs old . This she she recently lost her hair to something called an auto immune diesease . she used to be such a fun out going little girl she loved going to school and spending time with her friends and now since being ill she has lost so much confidence . she has a wig from the princess trust But poor angel still doesnt Feel happy . I want to raise money for angel to help bring her confidence back .

Hi everyone. This is a really difficult post to write and a very sensitive issue but 2 children today have both commented to Angel, so it's best to be upfront. Angel is having a really difficult time at the moment as her hair has been falling out in clumps for the last couple of months. Until recently, it couldn't be noticed.

She now has some noticeably obvious bald places on her head plus classmates have seen her hair coming out. I took her back to the doctors this morning and unfortunately there's nothing they can do at the moment and her hair continues to come out in big handfuls.

If your child should mention it to you, could you please explain that Angel has an auto immune disease that is making her poorly and that she takes daily medication and has regular blood tests, but the diagnosis is still quite new and so the treatment isn't quite right yet. Please please stress that she is understandably very upset about this and so is her mummy!
